This collection contains correspondence received by the Springfield Wagon Company of Springfield, Missouri between 1881 and 1907.

Biographical/Historical Note

The Springfield Wagon Company was established in 1872 by Homer F. Fellows in Springfield, Missouri. In 1941, the Phipps Lumber Company, headed by Senator J.W. Fulbright as president, bought the company and moved it to Fayetteville, Arkansas. The company went out of business in 1951.
