DC Williams Esq.
Dr Sir
Your favor
has, certainly, afforded me some consultation
to think, that we have still, in our county
a majorty[sic] of thinking people, I have
heard, from some two or three present
which gave a very large majority
for the Union, on mulberry there was
91 votes given and all but 8
whent[sic] the Union ticket. Ozark
gave a overwhelming vote for the Union
may we not yet hope?
Truly Yours
D.D. Williams
