Description

Front view of the Armistead Home near Fayetteville, Washington County. It was designed by William Baxter and built in 1858 for Jonas Tebbetts. During the Civil War it was used as Federal headquarters. Later it was the home of Charles Whiting Walker, the son of Chief Justice David Walker.
