This collection contains personal items and postcards collected by Thelma Matlock Allen.
Biographical/Historical Note
Thelma Nettie Matlock was born on January 4, 1908, in De Roche, Hot Spring County, Arkansas. She grew up at Donaldson, and later moved to Okolona, Clark County, Arkansas. On April 8, 1928, she married Clarence Corbett Allen of Daisy, Pike County, Arkansas. Clarence Allen died on April 10, 1965, in Hot Springs. Thelma Allen died on January 4, 1986, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. They are buried in Mount Joy Free Will Cemetery in Daisy.
