This collection contains a muster roll for Company F, Spaight's Regiment of Texas Volunteer Infantry.
Biographical/Historical Note
The Eleventh Battalion of the Texas Volunteers was a cavalry and infantry battalion organized in 1861 or 1862 under Lieutenant Colonel Ashley W. Spaight and Major J.S. Irvine. It mostly operated in the Trans-Mississippi and defended against the Red River campaign during the American Civil War.
