Biographical/Historical Note
At the 37th meeting of the Arkansas Teachers' Association held at Little Rock on December 28-30, 1904, it was decided that a committee of ten teachers from various parts of the state would be appointed to report on the condition of the rural schools of the state at the next meeting of the association.
