Biographical/Historical Note
Harry Evin Smith was born on September 24, 1881 in Brandenburg, Kentucky. He graduated from Louisville Law School and received an A.B. degree from Georgetown University. He was an employee of Rock Island Lines for 30 years and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He died September 21, 1944 and is buried at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
