This collection contains one brochure, "Nature Notes" from Hot Springs National Park, dated February 1937.

Biographical/Historical Note

In 1832, the United States Congress passed its first piece of legislation setting aside a piece of land for public recreation. That piece of land in the Arkansas Territory was the site of natural hot springs in the Ouachita Mountains of the Arkansas Territory, and became officially established as Hot Springs National Park in 1921.
