Biographical/Historical Note
The first letter in this collection dated February 3, 1945 is from H.E. Williams of Pocahontas to W.E. McLeod of Walnut Ridge, concerning the proposed memorial church building at the Salem-Columbia church site. The second letter dated February 5, 1945 is from W.E. McLeod to H.E. Williams with his response concerning the construction of the church.
