This collection contains materials related to the Eva Wright family and consists primarily of letters written by Vance Wright to his mother Eva Wright as well as family history items including an obituary for Eva Wright.
Biographical/Historical Note
Eva Howell Wright was born in June 1869 to Ira Howell and Jane Howell. Eva married William Grant Wright in 1891. They had at least five children including Vance, Ira Wesley, Nora, Mae and Kenneth. Their oldest son Vance served overseas during the Philippine Insurrection. William Grant Wright died on December 29, 1953 and Eva died sometime after his death.
