This is a black and white photograph of Mount Saint Mary's Convent and Academy for girls in Little Rock.

Biographical/Historical Note

Mount Saint Mary's Academy is a Catholic girl's school founded by the Sisters of Mercy in Little Rock in 1851. The school is still in operation and is Arkansas's oldest educational institution teaching today.
