Report on the names added to the county register of legal voters.

Biographical/Historical Note

These 1867-1868 voter registration lists were compiled as a part of the Reconstruction efforts of the Fourth Military District, which consisted of Mississippi and Arkansas. Precinct maps accompany the 1867 books for the following counties: Ashley, Benton, Desha, Hot Spring, Jefferson, Ouachita, Prairie, Pulaski, Scott, and Sebastian. Arrangement of names varies within each county.
