Biographical/Historical Note
Devoe was born November 5, 1919 and grew up in Lawrence County, Arkansas. He attended Portia High School during the late 1930s before joining the Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he lived in Texarkana, Texas until his death on January 25, 2012. This collection contains his 1939 high school yearbook and various photographs of his classmates at Portia High School.
