Record of payment given to H. J. Maynard and his servants, Danville Kelly and William upon their discharge from Company J, First Regiment, Arkansas Cavalry Volunteers. It details payment owed to them for clothing and sustenance.
Biographical/Historical Note
The First Regiment Cavalry was organized in Cassville and Springfield, Missouri, from June to August 1862, and served mainly in northwest Arkansas.
