Diary of physician T.W. Hardison for the year 1942, including everyday life, patient appointments, weather reports, and operations of the Petit Jean Spring Water company.
Biographical/Historical Note
Thomas William Hardison, a Petit Jean Mountain physician, author, and geologist, was instrumental in the creation of Arkansas's state parks system. He served as a member of the Arkansas State Parks Commission and was, for a time, chairman. He was born in 1884 at Richland, Columbia County, Arkansas. He died in April 1957.
