This collection contains one scrapbook of the El Dorado, Arkansas, Kiwanis Club. It includes newspaper clippings, documents, and programs from events, and features images from banquets, award ceremonies, and golfing. The scrapbook also includes content on the celebration of the club's fiftieth year anniversary.

Biographical/Historical Note

The El Dorado, Arkansas, Kiwanis Club was established in 1929, with the January 30, 1929 roster including 62 members. The international Kiwanis organization was established in 1915. From 1920-2005, its motto was "we build," and the organization focused on service to children. In 2005, the motto changed to “serving the children of the world.” In 1987, the organization was made co-ed.
