This collection contains a brochure on the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway. It includes a map of the United States showing railroads, information on rates of fare, and information on eastern Missouri and Arkansas.

Biographical/Historical Note

The St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway initially operated between St. Louis, Missouri, and Texarkana, Arkansas. Acquired by railroad tycoon Jay Gould in 1883, it was absorbed by Gould's Missouri Pacific Railroad.
