This collection contains a certificate appointing Daniel Ringo as Arkansas District Judge.
Biographical/Historical Note
Daniel Ringo was born in Cross Plains, Kentucky, on October 27, 1803. He moved to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, in 1820. He practiced law in Washington County, Arkansas. He moved to Little Rock, Arkansas Territory, in 1833, where he continued to practice law until 1836. He later served as a Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court and a District Judge. Ringo died on September 3, 1873, in Little Rock.
