This collection contains one Valentine postcard addressed to Miss Dora Oswald, circa 1920s.
Biographical/Historical Note
Dorothea "Dora" Wilhemina Oswald was born to Andrew and Minie Oswald in Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 24, 1903. On December 3, 1945, she married Colin Edison Elis in Montgomery, Alabama after meeting him while working for the Southern National Insurance Company. Dora spent the majority of her life living at 1608 Welch Street in Little Rock, the home to which the postcard in this collection is addressed. She died on January 28, 1995 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
