This collection contains bulletins from the Junior Agricultural College of Central Arkansas, now known as Arkansas State University-Beebe, from 1947 to 1949.
Biographical/Historical Note
Arkansas State University-Beebe is a public two-year college located in Beebe, Arkansas. It is part of the Arkansas State University System. It was established by Act 496 of the General Assembly in 1927 as the Junior Agricultural School of Central Arkansas. Its purpose was to provide academic courses and vocational training. It was also known under other names including Junior Agriculture College of Central Arkansas and Arkansas State College-Beebe. It became Arkansas State College-Beebe branch when it joined the Arkansas State University System in 1955. It received its current name of Arkansas State University-Beebe in 2001.
