This collection contains a family history written by Willie Naude Hughes Wilson and photocopies of family photographs.
Biographical/Historical Note
Willie Maude Hughes Wilson was born near Lamar, Johnson County, Arkansas, on April 25, 1886, to Robert Brazil and Permelia Ann Overbey Hughes. She married Robert Henry Wilson, and they had seven children. They moved to what is now Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, in 1906. Robert Henry Wilson died there in 1953 and Willie Maude died in 1979. They are buried together in Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
