This collection consists of copies from Little Rock City yearbook, newspaper clippings, and several pages of correspondence pertaining to the life and career of J. E. McCook.

Biographical/Historical Note

James E. McCook McCook was born on April 7, 1876. He served on the Little Rock Board of Affairs and became police chief in Little Rock in 1929. He also served as Road and Bridge Commissioner for Pulaski County. McCook died on December 10, 1966.
