This collection contains genealogical research material assembled by Thelma Neighbors Halliburton. It includes correspondence, pedigree charts, and notes.

Biographical/Historical Note

Thelma Neighbors Jones Van Meter (Mrs. James F.) Halliburton was born in Hot Spring County, June 22, 1913. Her parents were Frank D. and Emma Davis Neighbors. Thelma lived in North Little Rock for several years and retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers. She spent her retirement researching her family history. She was a member of the Arkansas Pioneers Association; General T.J. Churchill Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy; the Daughters of the American Revolution; and a charter member of Park Hill Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Thelma Halliburton died April 8, 2002. She was buried in Roselawn Memorial Park, Little Rock.
