This collection consists of one commission of A.P. Robinson for Justice of the Peace, Cadron Township, Faulkner County, Arkansas, signed by Governor Elisha Baxter, dated July 28, 1873.

Biographical/Historical Note

Asa Peter Hosmer Robinson (1822-1898) was the founder of Conway, Arkansas, and was also later elected mayor of Conway in 1887. He was the chief engineer in charge of construction of the Little Rock and Fort Smith Railroad through Conway, Arkansas.
