Biographical/Historical Note
This collection contains a warrant, No. 2979, issued April 4, 1932 to Dr. Shaw from the Pulaski County Treasurer, a newspaper clipping from the May 23, 1968 Arkansas Gazette issue, "36-year-old Bill for $1.50 Paid," describing warrant and request for payment after thirty-seven years, by Dr. E.I. Shaw of Hot Springs, and a May 1968 memo to the Pulaski County Treasurer, correcting an error created by outstanding Warrant No. 2979.
