This collection contains three letters.

Biographical/Historical Note

Samuel Walker and his family lived near what is now Sheridan in Grant County. During the Civil War, he had two sons who served for the Confederacy. W.W. Walker was at Tupelo, Mississippi in 1862, and John Walker was stationed at Port Hudson, Louisiana in 1863.
