Biographical/Historical Note
Orville Jacob McInturff was born January 9, 1895 in Searcy, Arkansas. He lived most of his life in Marshall, Arkansas in Searcy County where he died on December 23, 1993. Orville McInturff was an established local historian whose publications include a history of Searcy County, a history of Searcy County schools, and a history of the Marshall First Christian Church.
