This collection contains a photocopy of a court martial proceeding for Alexander [Muson].
Biographical/Historical Note
Alexander [Muson] was a captain in Maris Co. of the Arkansas Cavalry in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was convicted of murdering Ivan Nuva, a Mexican citizen at Saltillo, Mexico, on December 8, 1847 and sentenced to hanging. He was executed on January 10, 1848.
