This collection contains five postcards written to Clara B. Eno about club business in 1909 and two newspaper clippings dating from 1944-1945.

Biographical/Historical Note

Clara Bertha Eno was born in Van Buren, Arkansas, February 14, 1854 to Jonathan Adams Eno and Ellen Elizabeth Eno. After the death of her father, January 1862 Clara's mother, took Clara and her sister to Morristown, New Jersey. Clara Eno returned to Arkansas after the death of her mother and her sister. She taught school for twenty years before retiring. During her retirement, Eno wrote numerous articles on Arkansas history, culminating with the publication of The History of Crawford County after her 95th birthday. Clara B. Eno died August 2, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas.
