This inventory lists assets of Lewis Milliner's estate. The names, ages, and physical descriptions of Milliner's slaves are included.
Biographical/Historical Note
Lewis Milliner was born July 5, 1800, in Buncombe County, North Carolina. He married Elizabeth Oglesby June 27, 1820, with whom he had sixteen children. The Milliners moved first to Alabama, and then settled in Saline County, Arkansas, by the 1840s. Lewis Milliner died July 2, 1861, in Saline County.
