This collection contains instructions to the jury in the case of Grace Hensley and her husband, William A. Hensley of Mena, Arkansas regarding an automobile accident.

Biographical/Historical Note

Grace Hensley was accused of being negligent of hitting a pedestrian (who was crossing the street illegally) with her car. The instructions to the jury included that her husband William A. Hensley could not be found guilty unless he was in the automobile with his wife directing her driving. The case, Johnson v. Newman (1925) was cited on the jury instructions.
