This collection contains one campaign advertisement for R. A. “Bob” Cook's run for Governor.

Biographical/Historical Note

R. A. "Bob" Cook was appointed to the office of Pulaski County Sheriff after J. M. Haney resigned in 1929. He served as the Pulaski County Judge from 1933-1936 and is credited with bringing Pulaski County out of debt during that time. Cook ran for Governor against Carl Bailey in 1938 but was defeated by a margin of thirteen thousand votes.
