This collection contains a preamble and resolutions pertaining to T.L. Rice from 1878, as well as an undated paper with charges against James A. Walden.
Biographical/Historical Note
The New Hope Society, a Methodist church, was located in Benton County, Arkansas. In 1878, the members of New Hope expressed their displeasure with T.L. Rice. They also charged James A. Walden with maladministration.
