Description

Season pass for the 1925 season of Arkansas Travelers Baseball for Mrs. J.H. Roberson, whose husband (J.H. "Rube" Roberson) pitched for the team.

Biographical/Historical Note

Born August 16, 1889, in Floyd, White County, Arkansas, John Henry Roberson was known to baseball fans as "Rube Robinson," a label given to him by the press. Roberson played professional baseball from 1908 until 1929 and was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 1962.
