Biographical/Historical Note
Patsy Montana was one of the first women stars in Country and Western music. Her biggest hit was "I Want to Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart," recorded in 1935. She was born Rubye Blevins, in Garland County, Arkansas, on October 30, 1908. She died at the age of 87 on May 3, 1996.
