In this recording, made at a contest at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas, an unnamed contestant performs several traditional pieces. Sally Anne, or Old Time Sally, are songs about a woman named Sally Anne, traditionally said to be the wife of Davy Crockett. These songs were also performed by musicians like Pete Seeger and Dave Molsky.
