Letter from Colonel William M. Bruce of the 28th Regiment, Arkansas Militia in Arkadelphia to Governor Henry M. Rector notifying Rector of the election of officers for the "Arkadelphia Guards," 28th Regiment, Arkansas Militia.

Commandant of the Regiment No. 28
of the Arkansas Militia.
Do hereby certify that in pressance
with a Regimental Order No. 16,
dated December 13th 1860. (these elections were created in consequence of a
division of the Clark County Militia
having being divided in to two Regs.)
An election was held on the 5th day
of January A.D. 1861, for the following
