For six hundred and forty seven pounds of
Fresh Beef, furnished the Troops of the State
of Arkansas, on orders of Capt J.K. Mc-
Kenzie, Com. of sub. from 27 April
10th of May 1861 @ 4 1/2 cents per pound 32 37 1/4

I certify that the above account is correct
and just, that the Fresh Beef charged was
called for upon the returns for the Troops of the State
of Arkansas & was necessary for the public [illegible]
and I also certify that I have no public Fund
on hand wherewith to pay the above account, and
therefore transfer it to Major D.W. Heard asst. Comm.
of sub: J.K. McKenzie
