Robert Crittenden House
circa 1910s - 1920s
Image of the Robert Crittenden Home and front lawn mounted on a piece of paper with a text caption.
The house was constructed in the late 1820s to early 1830s. The site is now the location of the Albert Pike Hotel. The Territorial Legislature had been influenced by Crittenden to make the house state capitol, but Governor Pope vetoed the measure and the Old State House was built instead.
