Biographical/Historical Note
The United Provinces Exhibition was an arts and industries exhibition that was held in Allahabad, India, from December 1, 1910 to February 28, 1911. The purpose of the event was to encourage the arts and industries by European leaders and native communities. Different buildings were apportioned to showcase agriculture, irrigation, forestry, textiles, engineering, general industries, fine and applied arts, and education.
