This collection contains genealogical correspondence, transcripts of Bible records, transcripts from public records, news clippings, pedigree charts, family group sheets, genealogical sketches, et cetera.

Biographical/Historical Note

James Leonardo Andrea was born November 2, 1889, in South Carolina to Redmond Leonardo Andrea and Elizabeth LaBoon Michael Andrea. He was an educator, and after his retirement, spent most of his time doing historical and genealogical research. He died in 1966, after more than thirty years collecting genealogical and historical materials. After his death, his sister, Connie Andrea, arranged for the microfilming of his papers by the Genealogical Society of Utah.
