This collection contains a certificate for Polly Holsted as a member of the National Piano Playing Auditions and a collegiate diploma for Polly Holsted for the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
Biographical/Historical Note
Polly Holsted was born in October of 1929 to Luther and Eula Holsted. Luther Holsted and Meade Sutterfield operated a drug store in Leslie, Arkansas until 1938. The Holsteds moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas, and ran Holsted Drug Store from 1939-1964. Polly Holsted married George H. Rea on September 3, 1950, in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and they eventually moved to California.
