Biographical/Historical Note
Main Street Arkansas was established in 1984 to serve as the state's historic preservation-based community and economic development program. Main Street Arkansas is a part of Arkansas Historic Preservation Program and has been a leading advocate for downtown revitalization by providing resources, education, and professional assistance to spark life into Arkansas' traditional commercial areas.
