This collection contains memos, letters, and reports of the Woodlands Heritage Museum and Resource Center's advisory committee between 1981 and 1984. Also included are a press release and two letters regarding the Old Forester Sawmill site in Forester, Arkansas.
Biographical/Historical Note
The Woodlands Heritage Museum and Resource Center was a proposed museum dedicated to the preservation of Arkansas' woodlands history and heritage. Legislation was signed in 1981 and an advisory committee was formed soon after. The advisory committee issued a report in 1984 stating such a facility was not feasible at the time.
